01 / The MGN perspective

Advice grounded in
the realities of leadership.

A clear strategy is only the beginning. Its value depends on the choices people make, the capabilities they build and the discipline of execution.

Founded in 2023 by Sotiris Yannopoulos, MGN Consulting works across the intersection of strategy, investment and leadership. The perspective is shaped by experience in global consumer companies, regional conglomerates and family-owned businesses, across both developed and emerging markets.

02 / Advisory expertise

The direction is strategic.
The focus is practical.

Three connected areas of expertise for businesses facing an inflection point, an investment decision or a need for stronger execution.

01

Strategy &
transformation

Set a clear direction.
Build the business to deliver it.

Growth and turnaround strategies for branded and B2B consumer businesses, with attention to both the commercial opportunity and the operating model.

The work begins with the business question: where to compete, how to create value and what needs to change. It connects portfolio choices, new product development, routes to market and P&L priorities with the capabilities required to execute.

Areas of focus

  • Growth strategy and portfolio priorities
  • Commercial effectiveness and product opportunities
  • P&L efficiency, restructuring and consolidation
  • Operating-model and organisational change
02

Private equity &
investment support

An investor’s priorities.
An operator’s understanding.

Support for funds, owners and management teams through investment assessment, value creation and post-acquisition integration.

An attractive investment thesis needs an achievable operating agenda. MGN’s perspective connects commercial potential with execution requirements, from evaluating a business and its growth drivers to strengthening performance and preparing for the next ownership chapter.

Areas of focus

  • Commercial and operational due diligence
  • Value-creation priorities and management alignment
  • Post-acquisition integration and transformation
  • Growth support and exit preparation
03

Leadership &
culture

Align the team.
Strengthen accountability.

Leadership behaviours, organisational alignment and high-performing teams that can sustain progress through change.

Transformation is also a people challenge. Experience across different markets and ownership models informs a practical view of how leaders build trust, establish clear accountabilities and bring organisations together around shared priorities.

Areas of focus

  • Leadership-team alignment and accountability
  • Performance culture and management disciplines
  • Cultural integration across markets and organisations
  • Leadership capability through periods of change

03 / Meet the founder

Sotiris
Yannopoulos.

Three decades of building, transforming and leading consumer businesses across international markets.

Sotiris’s career spans global consumer companies including PepsiCo and Coca-Cola HBC, the regional conglomerate Fortenova Group, and family-owned La Lorraine Bakery Group. He has lived and worked in ten countries and directed business operations across another sixteen.

His experience combines strategy creation with direct P&L responsibility, portfolio development, restructuring, acquisitions and integration. It also includes the less visible work of transformation: developing leaders, aligning teams and strengthening the culture and management disciplines behind sustained performance.

His category experience spans snacks and bakery, food and nutrition, non-alcoholic beverages, wine and premium spirits. This breadth brings a practical understanding of brands, supply chains, commercial models and consumer demand.

He founded MGN Consulting in 2023. In September 2026, he became Chief Executive Officer of BMMI, adding a new chapter across distribution, retail, production and supply-chain services.
